History
Settepani Bakery
In Italian, the word Settepani translates directly to “seven breads,” making it no surprise that Settepani Bakery founder Chef Nino Settepani discovered his passion for baking at a young age.
Settepani Bakery has been a staple in the Italian neighborhood of Williamsburg, Brooklyn (where Chef Nino grew up after moving from Sicily) since 1990. Their speciality is rooted in traditional Italian breads, pastries, desserts, and most notably, their year-round panettone.
Now, with the help of Chef Nino’s daughter, Bilena, Settepani Bakery has added a contemporary approach to its baking, including the creation of their famed Nutella panettone.
Read more about their story on the Washington Post, La Cucina Italiana, and Rachel Ray.
